How to Turn On Amazon Two-Step Verification

  1. Visit the Advanced Security Settings.
  2. Select ‘Get started’.
  3. Type in your phone number (a primary one, if you have several phones) to receive an SMS message and install an authenticator application.
  4. Click on the ‘Send code’ button.
  5. Once you receive the code to your phone or generated it in the app, enter the code, select ‘Verify and continue’ to proceed with seller identity verification.
  6. You now have to choose one of the following options:
  • Add a second backup number and select a format (voice call or SMS)
  • Get an app for authentication, which will generate codes for you.

How to Turn Off 2-Step Verification on Amazon?
